When tasked with making this 8th birthday cake, the goal was to combine fun with a little bit of elegance. The favorite colors for this one: teal and purple, as well as the delightful addition of Smarties for a touch of playfulness.

For this particular cake, the choice was a white mud cake. It is an excellent option due to its rich flavor and moist texture.

The aim was to create a visually appealing cake that reflects the birthday girl's preferred colors, and for a touch of glamour, we used some edible glitter for metallic accents.

The Smartie's not only add color but also encourage playfulness, as guests can easily grab a Smartie from the cake.
